PROVISIONS

  • On your way through Merced, grocery options include Raley’s and Save Mart. For outdoor equipment, Big 5 is the only real option.
  • Closer to the Park Entrance, Mariposa has Pioneer market as its only “full” service grocery. For a micro version of Whole Foods, visit the highly rated High Country Health Foods and Cafe
  • There is a Costco in Manteca which is an option as you head to Hwy 120.
  • The Raley’s in Oakdale (about 2 hours from the Park entrance) is the best option once on Hwy 120
  • If you are coming from the south, there is a Vons in Mammoth Lakes
  • In Lee Vining, there is Mono Market – a convenience store type option for the basics
  • The Village Store in Yosemite Village sells goceries and gifts and will certainly have any of the  basics you need. It is the closest you will get to a traditional grocery store in the Park.
  • In Wawona, the family owned Pine Tree Market (7995 Chilnualna Falls Rd, CA, United States) is the best choice. They have a selection of meats, fruits, veggies, and alcohol. On Hwy 41, there is a small store adjacent to the gas station with limited grocery offerings.
  •  When Tioga Pass Road is open, the Tuolumne Meadows Store carries a limited selection of grocery items beyond the general convenience store  fare.
