Yosemite National Park IS THE VACATION DESTINATION WE ALL NEED RIGHT NOW

The Park spans nearly 1200 square miles and is so much more than the 6 square miles known as the Valley Floor. Over a million people from all over the world visit each year but only few spend the time to explore the entirety of Yosemite

Hiking

There are over 800 miles of hiking trails in Yosemite National Park. They range from kid friendly strolls to ascents to challenge even the most experienced backpacker. Yosemite contains nearly 70 miles of the famed Pacific Crest Trail.

Climbing

The polished granite faces of Yosemite Valley have always been a must for serious climbers. The history of climbing passes through this place. Even beginners can get a taste of Yosemite climbing through The Yosemite Mountaineering School.

Yosemite after dark

Staying within Park allows you to see a spectacularly different Yosemite. Dusk brings out animal life. Waterfalls glow as the sun sets and produce lunar rainbows after dark. The night sky sparkles above the granite walls of the Valley Floor.

Winter Sports

Yosemite is the only National Park to make a bid for the Winter Olympics. Badger Pass Ski Area is a family friendly venue built in 1935. Downhill skiing and snowboarding, tubing, snow shoeing, and cross country skiing make it the center of Yosemite winter fun. The Curry Village Ice Rink rounds out the experience and has been the place to ice skate with views of Half Dome since 1928.
